Mackenzie is situated on the traditional territory of the Kwadacha Nation (Tsek’ene), Tsay Keh Dene Band and McLeod Lake Indian Band. We encourage everyone exploring these lands to learn more about the Kwadacha, Tsay Keh Dene, and McLeod Lake Indian Band Nations and to treat the land with the respect and reverence it deserves.
